Teacher
Hi! My name is Jessica Taylor, and I am a teacher and world traveler! My passion is teaching my students about the world. For ten years, I taught World Geography to 9th graders and loved every minute of it! Six years ago, I embarked on a new journey: exiting the social studies department and entering the world of Career Technology Education. I run a program for high school students who want to become teachers. The classes in this program are career-focused on the education profession. All of the students in my classes are aspiring teachers. I am fortunate to teach a senior level course that will allow students to do an internship, where they spend about four hours per week in an actual classroom so that they can get a realistic view of the field of education. I absolute love what I teach and making an impact on the field of education...one young teacher at a time!
World Traveler
I've led 17 EF Tours since 2009. I fell into the whole student travel thing, and can't believe how much it has impacted my life. Prior to the first student tour I traveled on, I had never left the country. Now, just a few years later I have been to six continents and 47 different countries! I'm known now as "the travel lady" at my school, and its a title that I will proudly bear. Scroll down to see all of my tours!
Global Education Ambassador
In addition to teaching, I also serve as a Global Education Ambassador (GEA) for EF Tours. I help new Group Leaders in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area become equipped and confident about their upcoming tour. I absolutely love being a GEA, and I am so thankful to work with a company who provides such a great resource for their teachers. Contact your EF Tour Consultant if you would like to talk with a GEA near you!
